Hello makeup lovers!!! It's been so long since I've had a beauty post!! I have rounded up my top drugstore makeup products to show y'all because is there anything better than getting the best products for a fraction of the cost?! I included brushes in this post also, because most of my favorite brushes are from the drugstore!! Let's get started!!
This was the first Real Techniques brush I bought and it's one of my favorite!! It is so useful for so many things! I love using it for bronzer and also blending out my under-eye concealer! I highly recommend that any makeup lover invest in this brush!
2. Wet n' Wild foundation brush ($3)
I think this has been my the biggest shock of my drugstore makeup brush finds. One of my favorite beauty Youtubers Kathleen Lights mentioned in a video how good this brush was and I knew I had to buy this brush!! I love it SO much for foundation! Dare I say that I like it better than my BeautyBlender?? I just think it's so much quicker to use, so definitely try it out for only $3!!
3. e.l.f. Eyeshadow C Brush ($3)
If anyone understands short lash problems, it's Asian girls. This mascara has become a staple for me because it has grown my lashes probably twice the length they used to be! I'm not kidding!! There are two different types, I currently have the second one but I've used both and can't tell a difference besides the wand shape. If you want to grow your lashes I recommend picking this up and seeing if it works for you also!!
5. Maybelline Lash Discovery ($6)
Part 2 of short eyelash problems, I love using this mascara as almost a eyelash primer because the wand is soo tiny that it allows me to get as close to my lashline as possible! I've learned that using a waterproof mascara as a base coat really helps your eyelashes keep their curl! I have tons of tricks that I've learned to give me the best eyelashes possible, so if you want more info let me know!
6. Rimmel Stay Matte Powder ($4)
This powder has been a staple I've used for a while. It's my second one and I haven't found a better drugstore powder that really sets my foundation when my face is feeling slightly tacky. I use the transparent shade to avoid a cakey look and it's great to use for touch-ups also!! As an oily T-zone girl, I highly recommend this product.
7. Milani Baked Blush ($7)
It was hard to choose my favorite drugstore blush because there are actually a few that I really enjoy, but if I had to choose one everyday blush, it would definitely be this baby. I have the shade Berry Amore and I love it!! It's the perfect pink and I am able to build it to the pigment I desire. It's so beautiful and I really think everyone should try this blush! I have heard other shades being really popular as well such as Luminoso.
Honorable mention: Wet n' Wild Color Icon Blush ($3)
8. e.l.f. contour/blush palette ($4)
I think this was my first bronzer and I still love it!! I use the bronzer much more than the blush just because the blush is a little too shimmery and light in color (not as light as the picture looks online) but I sometimes use the blush as what GlamLifeGuru calls a "blush topper" which means exactly that, to add just a little extra color on top of your existing blush. The bronzer is a nice warm tone that matches my skin nicely, and for $4 it's hard to beat!
Honorable mention: Physician's Formula Butter Bronzer ($14)
9. Wet n' Wild Illuminating Palette ($5)
It was hard to pick my favorite drugstore highlight but if I had to pick one drugstore highlight to use forever, this would be it! There are five shades, but I usually mix a few of them together. This highlight can be built up depending on the amount of glow you want for the day! It's subtle but shimmery and perfect!!
Honorable mention: Essence Pure Nude Highlighter ($4)
Y'all HAVE to buy this eyeshadow pigment. It is the most beautiful coppery, rose gold shimmer shade that is such a perfect lid shade. I tried my best to convey the beauty of this color, but the pictures do not do it justice!! I discovered this from ReadySetGlamour and I'm so glad I did! I can't even describe how beautiful this shade is and it's a staple in my eyeshadow collection! I can see it looking beautiful on every skin tone and I highly highly recommend!!
Honorable mention: Maybelline Expertwear single Shadow in Nude Glow ($3)
I really hope y'all enjoyed this drugstore makeup list and I hope that I've inspired you to try a few of these products!! You might have noticed that I discovered a lot of these products from different Youtubers, which is really where I learned all I know about makeup!! If you want to learn more about the makeup, I suggest you head on over to Youtube!! This is the perfect place to learn more! What are y'alls favorite drugstore products?!
Note: I realize I didn't include lip products, I think because lip products are a whole different topic for me, so if you want to see a lip product post let me know!
