Summer to Fall Outfit Ideas/Tips!

Happy fall y'all!!! I love fall so much because it is the time of booties, sweaters, and dark palettes!! We are in Texas so it really isn't fall yet, so I thought that I would show you guys some of my favorite transition outfits this year and also some transition outfit tips!!

Outfit #1: Turtleneck Crew

I LOVE this sweater because it's so unique!!! Yes it might seem a little impractical to have a turtleneck tanktop, but this material is actually really light and breathable! Also when it gets colder you can always layer a long sleeve underneath! I love pairing navy with white jeans and black booties go with everything!!

Outfit #2: Stripey Stripes

I am totally obsessed with these pants. I want to wear them every single day! They feel like pajamas. I got them from Zara and will link them below!! I absolutely love the dark orange color, it's super fall, and I'm really into vertical stripes because I think that it makes me look taller!! The shape of these pants is just really flattering paired with a tighter top. I am also obsessed with these mules I got from Target! They really are a steal price and the perfect knock-offs for the Gucci ones. They are very comfortable and add a classic chic element to any outfit!

Outfit #3: Sweater weather

Fall is definitely sweater weather, but since it's not really cold yet, I chose this really thin, breathable sweater! It has super trendy bell sleeves and still gives that sweater, fall effect while keeping you comfortable in the not yet cold weather! I love wearing sweaters with shorts because I think it looks so unique, and you can never go wrong with a pair of booties!

Outfit #4: Overall, I'm ready for fall

Overalls are super in now, and are a easy way to create a casual, laidback look! I actually got these overalls on super-sale at Zara for I think $8? Such a steal, and the cool tie instead of the usual snap cap is so fun! I paired these cute overalls with a basic striped tee and my new favorite poof sneakers! These babies are also from Target, and they put such a fun twist on basic white sneakers! They are slip-on, super comfy, and pair well with so many outfits!!

Transition Tips:

#1: Mix long and short!! This is definitely my favorite tip and something I ALWAYS do during this time of the year. Mixing long and short pieces really brings something unexpected in an outfit. For example, in outfit #1 mixing a tank top with jeans or in #3 mixing a sweater with shorts! It is so fun to play around with lengths and proportions and this transitioning season is the time to do that!!

#2: Light outerwear: Transition season is the time to bring out your lighter outerwear! Whether that's cardigans, or the light jean jacket I had in outfit #2, it's all about layering and having some outerwear you can shed is always handy when the weather is unpredictable!

#3: Darker lip/nails: Another one of my favorite parts about colder weather is finally playing with my darker makeup and nail polish!! A darker lip definitely shakes up any outfit and instantly turns an outfit fall-ready!! This is a super easy tip to keep up your fall outfit sleeve!!

I hope you enjoyed this post and got some inspiration for your transition outfits and fall outfits!!! I am so excited for it to actually get colder here in Texas!! Thank you SO much to Beenal Hazari for taking this incredible pics and my fave Priya for making me laugh in them ;) Show them some love on social media!!
